Rakul Preet Singh is an Indian actress and model who works mainly in the south Indian film industry. She has also appeared in some Tamil, Bollywood and Kannada films. In a short space of time, Rakul Preet Singh has established herself as one of the leading Telugu film actresses. Rakul Preet Singh was conceived on October 10, 1990, in New Delhi,

India to Rajender Singh an Army Officer and Kulwinder Singh. Rakul did her schooling from Army Government funded School in Dhaula Kuan and later on finished her Distinctions' Degree in Mathematics from Jesus and Mary School, University of Delhi. She has been an active golf player and played at national levels. Rakul Preet Singh started her career as a model while she was in school and completed several commercial flyers. She made her film debut with Kannada motion picture 'Gilli' coordinated by Raghava Loki in 2009. In the film, Rakul played the lead job as Arati opposite of Gururaj Jaggesh and her performance was generally welcomed by the audience.
