The ministry said that 45 Saudi nationals, besides 36 Pakistanis, arrived at the King Abdullah Air Base in the western sector after they were evacuated by a transport plane of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) in the morning.
Another 52 refugees from Oman, Pakistan, the United States and Nepal arrived in Jeddah on His Majesty the King's ship "Al-Diriyat" in the afternoon, the ministry said.
It should be noted that the Royal Saudi Air Force has evacuated around 185 people of various nationalities in the last few days.
They are South Africa, Zambia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Eritrea, United Kingdom, Australia, Sweden, France, Netherlands, Norway, United States, Canada, Lebanon, Palestine, Somalia, Pakistan, Thailand, Philippines, Uganda, Chad, Tanzania. , Benin, Indonesia and Turkey.
The total number of people evacuated from war-torn Sudan since the start of the evacuation operation has reached about 5,197, including 184 Saudi nationals and about 5,013 of 100 nationalities.
Saudi Arabia is keen to provide all major needs for citizens of friendly countries to facilitate their departure to their countries.
The effort comes in response to directives from King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, who ordered the evacuation of Saudi nationals and citizens of friendly countries from Sudan.
